100 Words a Day 128
Jason finished tying his tie and looked in the mirror. He looked sharp. He had a hint of a five o’clock shadow and his hair was a little disheveled, just like Jessica liked it.
He grabbed the present he had purchased earlier. It was in a matte black box with a crimson ribbon. The bow was expertly tied and soft to the touch.
He stepped into his car, which he’d had cleaned and washed that day. With a turn of the key, the engine roared to life. He pushed the clutch in, put the car in gear, and was off.
