Joe had neither appetite nor hunger. Despite that, he forced
another spoonful of food into his mouth, chewed, and swallowed, resisting the mounting
urge to vomit.
When the bowl was empty, he put it aside and grabbed his
knife and fork. Joe then proceeded to consume the next dish in what seemed like
an endless parade of cutlery and fine china that was placed before him.
Through it all, in addition to having no desire or urge to
eat, he never felt full, just vaguely rebuffed by the idea of eating. It didn’t
matter though, he had to keep going.
