“I know it’s cliché to say Doc, but it was so easy. I
didn’t even think of them as a person. I just pushed, not even that hard, and
then walked away. I don’t even remember hearing them fall down the stairs.”
“I see. And what did you do after you pushed Mr. Johnson
down the stairs?”
“After I pushed the guy, I left the stairwell and went
back to my desk. I had to pack up to leave, as it was already 4:45 pm. And I
was sure I would be getting the promotion he had stolen from me.”
