100 Words a Day 1023

The queen of the were-wasps was more hideous still. Her compound eyes dominated distorted face that was otherwise an unspeakably grotesque mix of the features of man and insect. Two antenna shook in anticipation atop her head, which was covered in short, spiky hair. A second pair of yellow and black arms sprouted from her strangely-bent torso. Hanging heavy behind her was a bulbous abdomen ending in a shining stinger. She shifted her weight from one foot to the other and flexed her barb. Seeing this and realizing what was to come, the bloody, disheveled man began to struggle mightily.
