Few people knew anything about Far Island. Its isolation a
product of its location and inhabitants. There was a single rainbow bridge
connecting it to Alistoria, and even that was located at the end of a narrow peninsula
far from any sentient beings. The inhabitants had a permanent camp that guarded
the bridge and slew anyone who came near with strange magic absent from the
rest of the continents. Travelers who had observed the underland reported no
signs of habitation. Attempts to land on the underland had been repulsed using
the same deadly force exhibited by the rainbow bridge guardians.
