100 Words a Day 808

My passenger cabin on the ship was small. There were two narrow bunks built into the wall, which was the same color as the rest of the interior of the ship that I had seen. My roommate’s gear was already stowed, a large, black pack and one small satchel. I didn’t recognize the craftsmanship of either; the stitching was unusual and both were adorned with strange symbols. I left my pack on a small shelf built into the wall next to the beds and went to the galley, where several other passengers were passing the time until the landcruiser departed.
