“Are you not entertained? Are. You. Not. Entertained? Is this not why you are here?”
“Man, what a badass! He killed everyone!”
“He stole that line from Gladiator.”
“From what?”
“From Gladiator!”
“What’s Gladiator?”
Sigh. “It’s a movie. It’s from before your time.”
“Okay. So what?”
“The main character says that.”
“Says what?”
“Have you not been paying attention this whole conversations? He kills a bunch of guys in a gladiatorial arena, just like that dumb ass, and then he asks the crowd if they are entertained.”
“Wait, so that guy stole that from the guy in some movie?”
“Yes!”
