He walked up to the billionaire’s son after casually snapping the man’s neck.

“You see, kid. Real power is control of death and pain. The more people you can give those two things to, the more power you have. Don’t believe me? Remember what Bane did to the rich guy? That’s power.

Your father, he thought he had power. He had money and influence, but that’s really just a substitute for violence, like an effigy in Plato’s cave. I’m the one with the power here. All those people he had between him and me, what good did they do him?”
