The rugged switch made a loud click as he turned it off.

“Now,” the spindly man said, “I believe we were discussing the hidden location of the secret rebel base.”

Shaking his head, the prisoner tried to clear his vision. After spitting a bloody mouthful, he let his head sag, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

The interrogator’s angular face sank, his predatory smile becoming a frown.

He shook his head with a tsk tsk, “that won’t do at all. I already know you’re involved. Why do you shield the rebels? It just means their punishment falls on you.”
