100 Words a Day 763

She turned her crystal head, causing the blue flames to flare.

“What!” she demanded.

Her eyes opened wide, showing purple pupils full of anger. The flames shot up when she raised her four hands towards the ceiling, nails extending to their full length.

“We need more time,” the man repeated.

“More time!” Rainbow smoke began emitting from her mouth.

“That loan was for the time specified!” she screamed.

“I know,” he said, cowering.

The flame and her voice calmed.

“Well, you will have to give up your collateral then,” she said.


“I was hoping for an extension,” he squeaked out.
