100 Words a Day 775

The klaxon wailed and I sprinted down the corridor, ricocheting off the walls as a series of concussive impacts rocked the ship. I donned my oxygen mask but forgot to double check the seals of my suit before slamming the override button and entering the breached room. Fortunately, all of my seals were good, would have been a short repair job otherwise. The contents of the room were floating, having been disturbed by the explosions after the artificial gravity had been damaged. Magnetized boots allowed me to clomp over to the small hull breach, probably caused by some errant debris.
